Week-4 Texture

Week 4 challenge at iheartfaces.com is to capture texture...along with a face incorporated of course.

I just finished this lovely yellow scarf this week (my first decent crochet project) and set out to capture some of it's delicious, comforting, bumpy texture wrapped around this smudgy lil' face.

*sigh* I think things are a little more cozy when they're homemade.

Week 3- we are family

Week 3 challenge at iheartfaces.com is 'we are family'.

I chose this little family's picture because I think it embodies being a mother of boys.

Always full of action and energy...but smiling through it all.

And she gets to add a little baby girl to the mix next month!

****Update: I got sixth place this week in the iheartfaces.com challenge! Woo-hoo!
The guest judge who picked me is Audrey Woulard who is not only a fantastic photographer
but also shoots for Pottery Barn Kids catalog. I love her style so her pick means something special to me :)****

Week 51-hilarious outtakes

This week at iheartfaces.com is hilarious outtakes. This is just one of the many outtakes of my life with boys. He thought it was a great idea to use the black sharpie on his face. I guess the good news is it wasn't my furniture. It only took some hairspray and scrubbing until it finally faded!

I love this one peeking over at the fountain. What kid can resist a good fountain?
